Our Work

Creating Opportunities, Changing Lives

At  Bardoli Welfare Society, our mission is to empower underserved communities by promoting access to education, healthcare, skill development, and sustainable livelihood opportunities. Guided by our belief “Together, We Build Better Futures,” we strive to support individuals and families in overcoming social and economic challenges and achieving self-reliance. Through compassion, community participation, and dedicated grassroots initiatives, we work towards creating an inclusive society where every individual has the opportunity to learn, grow, and live with dignity.

01
Pradhan Mantri Swarozgar Yojana

BWS helps beneficiaries meet eligibility requirements by providing vocational training such as digital literacy, embroidery, and garment production, enabling youth and women to qualify for government loans. The organization focuses on economic empowerment rather than charity, encouraging individuals to start micro-enterprises and achieve long-term financial independence. Additionally, BWS supports beneficiaries through advocacy and market linkages by connecting artisans to exhibitions and trade fairs via the Development Commissioner (Handicrafts), ensuring income generation and loan repayment. These schemes are crucial because they provide financial capital that NGOs cannot directly supply to all trainees.

Youth Training And Self-employment

Youth training and self-employment are essential for long-term socio-economic development, helping marginalized youth move from dependency to active participation in the economy. The organization provides training in computer literacy, embroidery, stitching, and garment production to build practical skills and make beneficiaries eligible for government self-employment schemes while creating local livelihood opportunities that reduce migration. BWS promotes self-employment as a form of empowerment by encouraging youth and women to become job creators through handicraft and home-based work, and by supporting them with market linkages such as exhibitions and trade fairs. Along with generating sustainable income, these initiatives strengthen confidence, independence, and social dignity among participants.

Women’s Awakening Camp

Women’s Awakening Camp is an important initiative aimed at transforming women from passive beneficiaries into aware and active members of society. These camps focus on educating women about their legal and constitutional rights, helping them understand protection against exploitation and access to legal support. The NGO also encourages women’s participation in local governance through the Panchayati Raj system so that they can contribute to community decision-making and development. At the same time, the camps promote social empowerment and self-reliance by building confidence and self-worth, which supports their participation in vocational and livelihood programs. Additionally, they serve as awareness platforms to address social issues such as child labor and other forms of exploitation affecting vulnerable families.
